alex says:

I have a tory for you: unce di di da dine, der was a piderman! and der was a red piderman and a dat piderman. an the red piderman was a dood duy, and the dat piderman was a bad duy. and the red piderman fought the dat piderman and dey jump off da roof and dey use deir wib and the red piderman bleh the dat piderman. is dat a tory?

(I have a story for you: once upon a time there was a spiderman! and there was a red spiderman and a black spiderman. and the red spiderman was a good guy and the black spiderman was a bad guy. the red spiderman fought the black spiderman and they jumped off the roof and they used their webs and the red spiderman killed the black spiderman. is that a story?)

he actually hasn't done this in quite awhile. maybe 6 months. but i didn't want to forget it, and i didn't blog about it when he used to tell stories all the time. he used to not understand the difference between a question and a story, which is why he asked at the end. previous to this example, he would say "i have a didden (question) for you" and he would proceed to tell some rambling story about spiderman or ironman or usually both, and after we would say "thats not a question, thats a story" so for a long time he asked after saying a question or story if he had gotten it right.
