baby stuff

its starting to occur to me that i might need baby stuff for this baby. oh boy. i know i need a new car seat, as my baby seat was in a fender bender and they say i have to replace them. at that time i bought a convertible for my 6 mo and she is still using it. our high chair has seen its day (we bought it used and then used it up,) and the biggest thing--this is going to be a winter baby in a place that has actual winters. so even though we have clothes enough for twins, a big bucket that is labeled baby toys (can't remember whats in it) i have a boppy and blankets and a couple of bottles should i have some kind of emergency and need to pump, a swing, a bassinet, a stroller,2 really great slings (although i need to replace the one i gave away to encourage someone to babywear) and most of the diapers i need (although i will need to fill in my stash a little, especially if it turns out that i will have 2 in diapers) i still will need a new breast pump (the plastic gets gross after a few years) and specialized things to keep the baby warm when it is below 0. i don't know what these things are, but i dont figure wrapping my newborn in a layer of clothes and then putting him in my moby wrap will cover it.

Anyone out there know about newborns and winter? my 2 yo is a winter baby-but she was born in fl, and my 6 yo was born end of march, so technically spring and by the time i was up and around after my c sec it was mid april- so chilly but not cold. i don't know much about dressing myself for this kind of weather- so could use some advice on baby. =>
