not so little nursling

my two and a half yo girl, miriam, has always been a mommy's girl. she was an exceptionally clingy baby and is still a pretty clingy toddler. She has gotten very social, but still screams bloddy murder for hours should i leave her with her daddy. she nurses. she would be latched on for half the day if i allowed it. she is very busy, but would latch on and nurse for a minute and then run off. i only nurse her at bedtime and occasionally when she gets hurt for comfort. not long ago i had a conversation with her about 'bobo' as she calls it, explaining that 'the boy baby' will need to have bobo a lot, because it is the only food that he can eat, and he will need to eat every few hours. then i said that she might have to stop having bobo to let her baby brother have them. She listened intently, and when i asked her what she thought, she very calmly said "i will share the bobos with the boy baby" isn't she generous? =>
