one of my favorite quotes from miriam comes from last year, roughly 09/07 when she became completely and totally enamored with Where the Wild Things Are. when we got to the part when max first sees all the wild things and they roar their terrible roars, etc, miriam pointed to one of the monsters and said "dat goy have buuuurd feet" (translation necessary? doubt it if you are a mom, but for anyone else-'that guy has bird feet') its hysterical, and even though max, aka jammie-jammie...sometimes jammie-jammie-jammie, is no longer her very favorite book, when we do read it, we all include that statement as though it is part of the text.
