still a princess

i have told these stories about miriam before... how at the age of one she could pick out the most expensive handbag in the room, or can scan a room and picks as her friend the best dressed woman there. or how she knows instinctively just by the name of the store that it is full of cheap stuff and doesn't even want to go in (this seems to be a priori, because there was no experience of said store.)

well our little girl is still a princess, and we still dont know where it came from. last night we went to this nice outdoor mall, one of the places in omaha where you can find fancy stores. we parked the car, got out and daddy still hadn't said where we were going. miriam quickly scans the area (she can't read yet, mind you) and immediately points out a store about 3 doors down across the way, and said "are we going there?"
