My favorite alternate lyrics have to be my mom's set to "I want a new drug" by Huey Lewis and the News. To this day, she thinks it's "I want a new truck" and when she sings along, it's like hearing the song in a parallel universe. All of *her* lyrics correspond to him wanting a new truck. And no, it doesn't rhyme. But I've never had the heart to point it out. That, and I'm usually snickering too hard to explain anyway. :D
